School has given me some breaks for now to prepare for the end semester exams yet I am using it for work till the end of Oct. I think it is time to make up for my ‘absence’ since starting of semester 2. Nevertheless, shopping cum drinking cum singing cum gathering therapy will be fulfilled one by one. Lately I have not been patronizing the canteen downstairs due to several farewell lunch outs. Yes, people come and go with the wind. This period of Q3 and 4 made me experienced loneliness and cherish those who are still standing tall with me. I hope to cross paths with those who have left us, into a new working environment. I can truly form an alumni club of my own. The numbers are enough to kick start this side line/NP business, seriously!
My lunch khakis have left one by one in short notices. My dept is in a mess too. Shortage of manpower has always been an issue and concern. Of course, this also determines my workload. It can be placed least urgent from this hour. Within the next minute, top top top urgent! I am upset to see resignation letters. However for most cases, I understand it is for the better of them hence it is not a bad thing after all. I say mixed feelings do surface. I see more happiness and smiles on their faces during their notice period. For this, I am glad for them too. Maybe I should not be so
emo about it…
After watching this video showing a 19 yr old student being interviewed by RazorTv, I think she should polish her English. Currently she is the talk of the town; therefore I need not spell out who she is. I must say language is really vital to the max. It is either a make or break! I admit my isn’t any better but am trying to improve whenever there is opportunity. Hereby 2 examples for some laughter…

FREAKING AWESOME TO THE CORE! I was addicted after watching the first few episodes. This addiction almost killed my Econs test results! I was faming mad with myself for not being able to curb this temptation. Silly thing is, I am watching the DVD not on cable, why the hurry??? I don’t know. Anyway I finished the last few episodes right after my test. I was in cloud nine. I like the entire crew, their roles and storyline/plot. This show is really splendid, real and family/kinship oriented. I prefer this compared to Part I. Go catch it if you can! The best harvest is I managed to grasp some Cantonese lessons while watching. I am learning Canto BTW. How great!?!?
