I missed the 2nd event of sports clinic- badminton! I was excitedly looking forward to go karting right after my 3 sucky papers! 2 words for this entire game-
quite THRILLING! Note that it is not wise to go kart in SG based on these few reasons:
- Expensive to the max! My colleague went to check out the price, she saw something like $28 per 10 min (2 rounds)?! WTH! I had a peek at the invoice for this game, total was $2600. That day we had about 25 pax, it should be -/+ $104 per pax! OMG!!! When I did it in Shanghai, be it indoor or outdoor, it was 100rmb for 2 rounds = -/+ 20sgd. SEE THE DIFF!
- Circuit was way too short and not challenging. Distance was short as well. There is little chance to accelerate to the finishing line.
- Located at Yung Ho, Jurong which is damn out of way to travel all the way just for that 10mins circuit testing? That is dumb!
- Condition of go kart was poor probably those go karts are for testing and us- amateur. They have the best ones with shell covering the motors, shiny and brand new. I was jokingly telling my colleague that I rather invest in a go kart instead of a horse! Hehe :p
Advice is to try go karting in countries like Malaysia, China or probably Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.
