I have been visiting Popeyes for twice within this week! First was a very strong craving and huge influence from Prens. During lunch, suddenly out of nowhere we derived to Popeye’s delicious chicken and biscuits. Prens was itching for it since she was weak for a period and had to stay at home to recover. She even made an effort to check their delivery lines. To her disappointment, they had no delivery services. She was upset till then.

27 Aug evening, the word and image of “Popeyes” did not leave us for any second. It was time for dinner as well. Prens came to us again. That sense of Popeyes was unbeatable and avoidable, seriously. Without further ado, we made the trip to SG flyer! Gosh, our wish was granted! One bite of the crispy tasty chicken, together with biscuits and jam sauce, another hand with Cajun fries! Not forgetting my favorite and love at first lick- mashed potato! The gravy is awesome and a perfect match with the overall texture and favor of their mashed potato. This was the minute- one spoonful of mashed potato with the thick gravy entering my mouth, bringing in bits and crunches of mushrooms and some tiny meat, heavenly you know?!!!??! Hahaha… I’m loving it!

Second trip to Popeyes was today, after bidding goodbye to Rika, who is returning to Indonesia home after her rich experiences and life here with us and our organization. Some pictures taken at T1 will upload afterwards when she has landed and settled. Frankly speaking, such depart should spark some tears or upset and unbearable moments. However, it was the opposite for Evelyn and I. We were very contented and happy for her. We had the feeling that it was more of a relief than a lost for her. Anyway she will be here for Evelyn’s wedding some time Nov and we will visit her some time 3 Jan 09 for her wedding instead. Many newly wed to officially name as husband and wife and dinner to attend…
