Recently my grandma’s 3rd and 4th sisters came to visit her @ SG. We, as juniors have to go pay them a visit, send our greetings; show that we are prim and proper. This could be the last or one and only trip to SG. There might not be any more opportunities for them to travel far as one has a pair of weak legs, she can’t walk for long and the latter has diabetics, where she has to inject insulin daily without fail. Here comes the heartbreaking and tragic part I wanna emphasized.
Great grand 3rd aunt’s (grandma’s 3rd sister) eldest daughter passed away on sun, 30mins aft they left HK to SG. Her eldest daughter was in poor health, had gum cancer and suprisingly her life was prolonged to about 16yrs even though she gave up on chermo therapy. Great grand 3rd aunt was totally kept in the dark, unaware of it but some how sensed that something odd was happening which contributes to the uneasy feeling within her inner self. It is a bad omen. She was absolutely not on a holiday mood as she cannot afford to leave her sick, seriously weak and days-are-numbered precious daughter at home. I felt the sadness.
Then, on Tuesday the remaining sisters called home (Shenzhen/Mainland) and asked about their 2nd sister. Families only mentioned that she was very frail and suffers old age. The following day, Wednesday, news of her death was announced to all. How can one handle all these death at one shot? 谁受得了啊？Oh my god… I admired and respected my grandma and her sisters. They are strong, mighty and kind. Yes it is true that one shouldn’t cling onto the past despite that it’s all over and ended. However, Great Grand 3rd Aunt still loves her late husband so much that his death was a terrible sudden attack to her. She wrote a letter to him. I managed to read that depressing and tearful letter. Tears rolled within her eyes, she remained silent for moments whenever whoever mentions about her late husband. They are indeed loving. Till today, she still could not get over it as the dreadful piercing sharp pain surfaces within her heart and mind. I supposed flashes of memories appeared repeatedly again and again that recollect the precious sweet moments with him.

On the other hand, she looked like “Queen Elizabeth”. The photos are posted above! She is generous, open-minded, kinda funny, young at heart, cheerful and optimistic. I hope she can handle the death of her daughter upon her arrival back home, HK. It will be shocking, unbelievable yet disheartening news to her. The truth hurts. I’m really worried and terrified that she could not take it… What might happen aft that.....? (cross my fingers) While all the unhappiness has happened during the wrong time that causes double blow to all, here are some donut treats to sweeten the week. yummy yummy yummy! (",)
